How to receive the blessings of God by praying in an unknown tongue? 1. Speaking in tongues is the evidence of receiving the Holy Spirit. The more time you spend with the Holy Spirit, the more your identity of being a child of God will be revealed. By speaking in tongues, you directly speak to God and you'll be blessed, you'll be edified and your spirit will be refreshed. What your mind cannot do, the spirit will do it for you. CALM DOWN! When you calm down, Heaven will work for you. God is about to do something. 2. Speaking in tongues will build your spiritual life. You cannot be dry spiritually. You NEED the FIRE. Anyone who prays in tongues edifies himself.when you pray in tongues, your spirit prays and you will not move by your thinking, but by your spirit. Keep the Holy Spirit Fire burning. 3. Speaking in tongues will eliminate all selfishness that enters your prayer life. The Spirit Himself intercedes for us with inexpressible groanings. 4. When you speak in tongues, your faith is built. 5. Your love for God will increase when you pray in tongues.
