Surely one Christian denomination can be similar to another. I'm protestant (Anglican myself), but I still hold Catholics or Eastern Orthodox to be brothers/sisters in Christ just say the same. And this service is honoring Armenian martyrs...so it makes sense to see some Orthodox priests welcomed there as guests.

Basically, Westminster Abbey, is a Royal Peculiar. They can do whatever they like, with the Queen' approval. Charles is the Royal representative here because he has strong links with the Orthodox Church. Prince Philip was Orthodox before his marriag to Elisabeth. .

Charles' mansion sized house, Highgrove, in Gloucestershire, is managed sustainably. It has solar panels, and collected roof water. All the toilet waste is processed through a series of ponds with reedbeds. No artificial fertilisers or insect repellents are used. Meadows are managed to sustain butterflies. The gardens are open to the public, with the profits going to help the Princes Trust (putting disadvantaged British teenagers into business) The Prince, in case you are unaware, has been pioneering environmentally sustainable agriculture for decades. He is prepared to put his money where his mouth is, since his source of income i MAINLY agricultural. BTW...... Buckingham Palace had not had its wiring, heating, roof and plumbing renewed for decades. This has recently been underway, and opportunity has been taken to make that building far more environmentally friendly. To achieve this over all the Royal residebces will take time, Windsor Castle is one of those where solar panels have been installed.

My research indicates that heat radiation testing showed that Bucking ham palace was a severe problem to global warming, once heating was installed, because it has a large number of windows that are not double-glazed. The solution has been to install translucent, heat-retaining blinds on the windows. The building now has heat pumps and an increased number of solar panels. What else do you want to know? Charles decided that his Aston Martin should not be driven anymore.... but the company modified it, and it now runs on wine.
