Special (Subtle) Alcohol Marker Face Shading Tips for Scaredy-Cats!

🥰🥰🥰 I love you subtle girlies!! I'm so proud of you for going out of your comfort zone! 😘😘 As you know, I LOVE subtle shading instead of dramatic. The way I get rid of the streaking on single color is I do two layers one horizontal then one vertical over the whole face and then add the shading levels. Like you I am NOT a fan of the colorless blender. I only use the colorless blender to soak out the colors when I can't stay within the lines. Otherwise I would just throw the colorless out when opening the package! hahaha THANK YOU AGAIN sweet, sweet Karen. I love your subtle girlies! woo hoo!

I've found that the only thing a colorless blender is good for would be to push color out of an area. So if you go out of your lines a bit you can push the color back into the image with the colorless blender. That said, the darker the color is the less it will push the color back in. Red is especially challenging.

Hi Karen, Ameylynn here ~ I am not printing from my printer, but drawing on multimedia paper... What pen are you using to draw the outline ~ so it doesn't smear into a CF chaos? I appreciate it!
