Special Trains around Alkmaar (Vectron, ICM, VIRMm, SGM) - April and May 2021

In the months April and May 2021 I was able to record several special trains in and around Alkmaar. This video is a compilation of these trains and the regular traffic around the area.
- ICM Koploper in train series 3000 to Den Helder.
- The brand new NS Vectron 193 766 in Alkmaar station.
- The freshly refurbished VIRMm in the brand new NS 'Flow' livery.
- SGM train at departure in Alkmaar. This wasn't special a year back, but now the trains are replaced by SLT trains.

Ik had de Vectron gefotografeerd en gefilmd op spoor 1 toen deze naar HHW en verder ging. Zeker mooie video op een station waar ik heen moet voor school.

2:01 wel jammer dat ze waar ze normaal 4 of 6 bakken virm inzetten een losse icm 3 inzetten. Ze hadden beter 7 of 8 bakken in kunnen zetten.

Yes, all VIRM trains will be in this color. How long it will take is the question - it might take years and years before they are all repainted. :-)

Uiteindelijk wel ja. Dat gaat echter nog wel even duren voordat alle treinen voorzien zijn.

Hey ik woon in alkmaar en ik wil ook wel weten wanneer er bijzondere treinen komen. Hoe weet jij dat er zo'n trein daar komt?

Vaak zie je het op trein posities. Dan moet je even kijken onder bijzonderheden.

Huh, is Noord-Holland niet alleen VIRM terrein? ;)

Normaliter wel. 3000 naar Hdr met VIRM, de 800 met VIRM. De 4800 rijdt met Sprintermaterieel (momenteel SLT, vroeger SGM) en de 3400 momenteel met SGM, al zal dat DDZ worden zodra het weer in dienst is heb ik me laten vertellen.

een kop,oper op hhw, dat zie je niet zo heel veel gebeuren. wel jammer eigenlijk want ze zitten veel beter dan de virm

Me neither... The first livery they came up with was more blue at the front, until a car crash at a non-guarded level crossing made them realize that the trains should have more 'contrast'. So then they made it more yellow. Its ugly.
