I get a lot of questions about my bike so i thought I would make a short video about it and all of its upgrades.

Thanks much for your videos. I really like your innovations you've made, especially the home made fork cradle mounts - brilliant. Interesting to see that you maintain a front derailer (when the fashion is single chain rings) but makes sense depending on riding. No thoughts of 12 speed? Presume the 2x11 is sufficient. Sometimes I look at those massive 12 speed clusters & think that they have totally blow the weight saving advantage of the 1x concept. Horses for courses obviously. Anyway, thanks again, cheers.

It's actually a 2x10 with a 11-40 cassette. Which gives me approx 600% gear range. I've got 12 speed on my mountain bike with a 11-50, which is only 455%. For bikepacking I don't think that is enough gear range. A 14speed Rohloff hub would be my ideal setup but they are very expensive.

@@FatTraction Interesting, thanks for the tip. I've not numerous bikes (all mtn bikes) & run 1x9, 2x10 & 1x10. I'll upgrade to more gears as the need arises or parts break but as you'd know, there is no end to upgrades in this sport! Yeh, the 14 speed would be sweet!.

Just did a check on my 2019 specialized fatboy. Ordered some ergon 4 grips. Had to tighten some bolts on the bike, even my rear axle was loose. I may need to get new bearings to my headset and front fork. Seems to wiggle a little bit. I can't get it to tighten. There great bikes but I need to get different tires because I ride in the desert. Goatheads are a nightmare. I am thinking about a power saddle too.
