Sram just make gorgeous group sets having everything HI-MOD Carbon and believe me I’ve had campagnolo shimano and sram and I’d choose sram everyday the double tap system if your on mechanical is just perfect and I’m currently running red etap, it’s so much easier to set up no stupid wires everywhere just simple Bluetooth wifli, everyone has their own opinions which is why there’s other group sets out there, but if you go on Gee Milner 9/10 his dream bike builds will have sram AXS

@@Metal_Face_Doom you're probably better off buying the 500ml tin I think it is. It will last you for years, that's of course if you can justify the price of it. I use it for the BB, headset, crank axles etc. Stays where it's put, sticks to everything you don't want it to like clay. I probably spent more time getting it out from under my nails than putting it on the bike.

@@guitaroidman524 yup. I brought it back to the shop and it looks like they wrapped the junction box with foam and electrical tape, but my bike is still very noisey 😭
@guitaroidman5244 жыл бұрын
@@tz1 one thing I can think of is that they maybe didn't put enough of the Di2 cable clips on the wires. I was a bit overzealous in putting the Di2 cable clips on my bike when I did mine and I've had no cable slaps in the frame. I'd say it's unlikely to be a brake cable as they are pretty rigid. Though I do have groaning/clicking plastic headset spacers that like to announce themselves when braking, does my nut in on an otherwise silent bike.

Would it be too overkill just to buy this if you don't race? Some people spend 20K+ on a motorcycle and use it 6 times a year. I'm not a racer but I'd use this thing 5 days a week.

@sbccbc74714 жыл бұрын
Rationally, yes. TT bikes practically aren't bikes but competition machines. They're used for TT training and TT competitions only, I don't see any other use for them outside of those two uses. Same case with tri bikes.
@fivestars46814 жыл бұрын
It is a very nice subject that you launch here.First of all,hugo young 's answer is true.It is your money.Secondly,to my mind 5 times a week is a great utilisation of a bike.Then ,effectively,we can speak of the price and the price comparing to your level.The price is 12999 euros.You take the exemple of motorcycle but you can take other example:prices of certain televisions,computers,telephones;prices of cars,travels that last one week. etc etc...For instance,for me it is more overkill to put 5000 euros in a television than 13000 euros in this bike.Personnaly i would prefer have a 6000 euros car and this bike rather than a 19000 euros car but it is my choice..Concerning the question buying this expensive bike comparing the personnal biking performance level, you can have different approaches.Of course a professional will use this bike as no one else.But there are not only professional people on earth.If you live and think biking,i think you do not have to hesitate if you can afford it.But you can choose not to buy it and make something else with the money you do not put in:a donation or something else. Anyway one thing is sure:All of us have seen this video and are ok to say that this bike is incredible.And personnaly when i see this,i have just one idea,trying it.It is really an insane bike,an incredible machine.It must be great to ride this bike....

why underseat tube is so thin near the bracket?
@sbccbc74714 жыл бұрын
It's for weight reduction. Sure, that gap may be initially unsightly, but since aerodynamics aren't as important at that area, they just focused on shaving weight over there.* *This is heard first-hand from Cameron Piper, Specialized Product Manager, Win Tunnel Expert and UCI pro cyclist.
