Very nice, but a bike like this deserves some light tires. I understand the everything Specialized, but 150 gram less is possible.. Example: Maxxis Highroad (184gr) + TPU(21gr) will result in 368 + 42 = 410 gram

that's normal super glue to seal the cut. Not strictly necessary but we like to go the extra mile 😉👍

SL8 still uses that crazy modified red steerer tube insert? I thought they had corrected that.

Yes, still the same. No real point in changing it since it seems to work perfectly and it's reasonably light as well. If you're not convinced you could take up the Bora Hans Grohe approach, they glued in a aluminium tube and use a traditional starnut. dont like the rear di2 cable out location, why didnt they put it just above the derailleur?

It's way too tight at the rear dropout. Right in front of axel is the bolt which holds the hanger and fiddling a cable around that would be way to complicated: 23:55 It's a little long, but you really wouldn't notice while riding and shouldn't be a problem.
