Nice looking controller, seems to have a lot of functionality as well.

Hey Seb. Is this controller worth using in 2024? Or should I switch to the recent Greddy profec
@specialtyz3 ай бұрын
If you're looking to purchase a new controller go with the Greddy Profec. It is by far the easiest, nicest, and most cost effective controller out there. These old Blitz units are no longer made but if you have one in your possession it is still a great controller. I still have one in one of my Z32s that is still functioning.

Its funny. I went to look for a video on how to use the blitz boost controller. And the first video i find is specialityz. Im pretty sure they built my z32tt that im trying to learn how to use LOL. What would you recommend my settings to be at? I have it on flex fuel about e34 at the moment. Also have blitz power meter im in new mexico so elevation sucks.
@specialtyz8 ай бұрын
The settings will depend on your setup, however I would recommend starting at 30% and going up from there. On an E30 mix you can probably get away with 17-18 psi of boost.
@justinr29119 жыл бұрын
do you have a video or thread for actually settiing one up mines single
@specialtyz9 жыл бұрын
+Justin Roberts Settings or installation? Single solenoid would be the same settings.
@justinr29119 жыл бұрын
Settings. I have set it to 14psi with 25 fain but onoy runs at 8.1 actuator pressure and wont go higher
@specialtyz9 жыл бұрын
+Justin Roberts You need to ditch the auto setting. Use manual mode. Start at 30% set.
@steveromeocars7 жыл бұрын
Have you got a video, where you show the installation? One Silicone hose from the solenoid goes into the wastegate, and the other? On the nipple which is on an intercooler tube? Have a RB25det.
@specialtyz7 жыл бұрын
The IN port comes from the signal which ideally is before the throttle body and after the intercooler. The OUT port will go to the wastegate(s).
@steveromeocars7 жыл бұрын
Thx Dude, I already managed it :) Now the other problem is, that the boost will only be at 0,8bar on 5000rpm. Gain is for boostcontrolls, but how can I get maxximum boost on 3000rpm? What shoul I do with set?
@specialtyz7 жыл бұрын
What's it like the rest of the RPM range? Max boost will greatly depend on the size of the engine\turbos. If you have a big setup the further up the RPMs MAX boost will occur.
@steveromeocars7 жыл бұрын
No its Original Setup. I just want maxx Boost(0,8 Bar) on low RPM... So its the "Set" (Duty Cycle) That I have to adjust higher????
@SPIRITjpDriftingSeries4 жыл бұрын
@@steveromeocars adjust the gain setting to increase spool. Changing the gain setting will also affect total boost level, so make sure to adjust duty cycle (and keep an eye on it) when changing the gain setting.

I have the same blitz boost controller for a stock nissan skyline r33 gtst currently in japan and running on 93 octane what would be the best setup? Supposedly 12psi is the max I would want to do with a stock turbo and I left my controller at channel 1 with 30 would you have any recommendations? Sadly everything in the manual is in Japanese and I can’t read it lol

30 for the set is a good starting point. Use 10 for the gain setting. Make sure to use at least 3rd gear to check boost levels.

Sebastian what if the car is twin turbo stock and I set it to auto?
@specialtyz4 жыл бұрын
Won’t work unfortunately. At least not on these specific units.
@zxline Жыл бұрын
What factors determine the Gain setting? I.E a setting of 10 vs 15. Is it elevation, Octane, Mods?
@specialtyz Жыл бұрын
Most of it comes down to the turbo (sizing), wastegate spring pressure, and how the response is. Over 90% of the time 10 is usually the best all around setting for most applications.

Mine was working good and turns on. But It’s not showing any boost or even moving. It stays stuck. What can cause this.
@specialtyz9 ай бұрын
This could be the actual "brain & sensor" for the controller, where the boost line goes to.
@ariesanfilippo10789 ай бұрын
@@specialtyz where would that be located? I didn’t install it. Came with the car when I imported from Japan.
@specialtyz9 ай бұрын
Hard to know as installation is unique. You would want to start by following a vacuum line that goes into the cabin and also the wiring from the head unit to the "brain".@@ariesanfilippo1078
