Species Spotlight- Amazon Tree Boas

My Amazon tree boa juvenile is actually such a sweetie pie and is actually the most calm baby snake I've ever had experience with. I am so in love with this species, but they're not nearly as popular as they should be. THEY ARE WIDLEY IMPORTED WILD CAUGHT so make sure if you're looking, you want to get a CBB individual and there are quote a few amazing breeders in the States. My baby us so inquisitive and adventurous and I couldn't be happier

My ATB is doing pretty good in a 4x2x2. I might still upscale a little.

Tapetum Lucidum- very interesting! I think the Amazon Tree Boa is amazing, and yes, it’s more of a display animal based on all the great info you presented! The closest I’ve gotten to owning an arboreal species is my Jungle Carpet Python. The best part for me, is that he’s handle-able! 🙂
