Dear engineer I have a confusion regarding volume from weight you said the state of water sample add in the water and also the saturated surface dry weight when you will subtract so you will get the volume how it is possible you have any calculation please share with me this is the only confusion

If you can't measure apparently your specimen cause of voids than you have follow that procedure Because your water specific gravity equl to 1gm/ cm3

What is the standard compaction, if standard compaction is 97 % then where it is?
