i went to the "docklands concert in 1989 and witnessed this lovely peice of music, still love it today ,I used to stay in Ironbridge in shropshire, and always imagine what life was like for the men who worked there? especially at "blists hill" ironworks! I can hear the roar of the beam engines and see the men breaking their bones to earn a days crust, the sweat running from their torn faces, and then the march home after a 14 hour shift, again epitimised by jean michelle by the" rup up pum" of the workers returning home, utterly timeless music which will be enjoyed for generations to come, thank you J.M.J.

@ It,s obvious that J.M.J. was on an amazing thought pattern when he composed this, I have played this on my home synthesizer ,not knowing any music, my partner was surprised that I could play along to this music, still love it today, thanks for the reply ... T.J. Devon...

I went on a school trip to Coalbrookdale for a weekend as part of my GCSE History in September 1988. Later the same month this album was released.

Jean Michel Jarre is a prophet of our time. His music must be from some other place.

I was at the Docklands too & although i was at Paris la defense & tolerence, nothing stays with me like docklands.. to this day it is one of the greatest nights of my life, the rain & the trumph through adversity just made it feel so organically real on a different level

I was at the Docklands concert on the Saturday night it stayed completely dry until the concert finished, definitely the best Jarre Concert ever.

This is quite possibly Jarre's Magnum Opus. Coming from a fan since 87.

JMJ exploring the Roland D-50. Loved this Suite from the beginning and now it's 2021 and I still love it. There is also a nice rendition of the suite from a symphony orchestra playing it.

One of Jarres biggest triumphs on what was a disjointed album.. but this & the original Revolutions track are definitely career highs among many career highs.. I think the best parts of Rendezvous & the best parts (as stated above) from Revolutions would of made a magnum opus for Jean Michel.

i would imagine the great GORMENGHAST being done with this symphonic ensemble, done by the COHEN bros or a INDIE director who got a bag of loot from a b movie robbery gone PERFECT and the leader's sidekick offers his little director buddy his part of the heist & then ACTION CAMERA ROLL "EM.... F.A.N.T.A.S.Y. done perfect...music is the shit!
