Speckled Trout Fishing with a Popping Cork - Speckled Trout Limit - Laguna Madre

Glad to be back out on the water and catch my speckled trout limit! I was fishing for Speckled Trout with a Popping Cork, which is something I don't do that often. My best success under the popping cork (Woodee cork) came with a DOA shrimp and a Mirrolure Lil John. Fishing in the Laguna Madre near Bird Island basin, there were a lot of waders, boats and kayaks out this day. I think everyone is trying to get away from the crowds and enjoy the outdoors.
