Thank you for your video. As a teenager i worked in the general store in Hawker and rented the old Hawker Railway station which i can see now is a resturant. The station then was owned by the rifle club. I played cricket for the town of Hawker. I also enjoyed my time there such a beautiful part of Australia.

Thank you for your kind comments. Maybe I’m strange in that I think videos should be more than just product placement.

Hello David and Noelene, Thanks for an absorbing travel guide of The Flinders Ranges from Quorn to Wilpena Pound. Many interesting features beyond a travel video..excellent local history and fine stills photography. Particularly engaging was the rolling view from the dash board as you took us through gorges and blissful landscapes. The hovering aerials were excellent but it was your strong narrative and presence that set this video apart. We look forward to following more of your adventures with candour, humour and fact. Regards Paul and Shirley Allen

What a delight to discover your videos ... Noelene, you haven't changed a bit since we worked together at Brighton all those years ago! I hope to cross paths with you while travelling so we can catch up over a drink (or two)

Dear D&N - Beauty, and enjoyment appropriately combine with melancholy. For me, many memories evoked, plus informative historical commentary. Technically excellent, supplemented by drone perspective. Thanks from Bob (also Bonnie)

Hi D & N Once again a great vidio. Can't remember the last time I saw an old tea chest like that one. love the tree with all the shoes. We had a "very rare" gumboot tree on Mission Beach road a few years ago. Spectactular scenery and loved the drone work. Stay safe.

Hi David. Thanks for such an informative and beautifully presented video. Have now viewed it a couple of times and learnt something new each time. I do have a private question to ask you - are you the David Foster related to Marg and Don Gillies? Would love it if you could let me know yay or nay. Happy travels.

Is the Flinders Ranges dog friendly?
@magfoss1
@magfoss1 Жыл бұрын
Yes and no. It depends on where you go. The national parks, Warraweena and Arkaroola private reserves and possibly some of the station stays are dog free. Most of the rest of the are are OK. It all depends on where you go and what you want to do. It really is a fabulous and magnificent scenic area.

As someone who is about to visit the Flinders Ranges for the first time I have been searching for You Tube videos that might show me some of the things that we should do when we are there. Whilst the content of your videos might be useful, I just find the monotonous delivery too much to bear and only get a few seconds in before choosing another similar video. Not trying to be a keyboard warrior or anything, it’s just meant as some feedback that might help. I may be on my own here judging by the few positive comments you’ve received, but I think not.
