Spectacular Take Offs Stunning Swiss Alps ZigAirMeet Flugshow Rafale Typhoon

What a stunning backdrop for this Airshow it was a great shame we had full Sun while we were here but I'd love to come back one day! My fav display was the Belgium F-16 display followed by the German Typhoon but it was a great shame by the Swiss F-18 and the Frech Rafale displayed the Sun had come round and were backlit to hell, great shame they didnt change the running order for the next day, but still a great display by all.
I'm off to Radom airshow in Poland in a few days so check back

Love those fast jet take-offs. Interesting seeing the other planes -- good old DC3 - not sure about the twin prop plane - reminded me of the way old Avro Anson!. Very nice Lightning, Corsair - couldn't ID the orange stripe, Mitchell? Some memorable flying recorded over the event - most satisfying. :)

The two twin props after the DC-3 are Beechcraft Model 18. Together with the DC-3, they perform as the „Classic Formation“ (actually the formation is the DC-3 and three Beechcraft Model 18). They often fly over my house, when they do training. It‘s always a treat…

Elwyn do you just attend air shows in Europe or do you go to any in the US? It's going to be a good one here in nh early Sept.. F35, F16, F15, U2, P51, KC147, and a bunch of other along with static display ... It's a 2 day show btw
