yup every primary healer plays the same way as rocket but with less survivability and no rez on cooldown. the no support ult argument doesnt work bc his amplifier is basically guaranteed teamfight win after the opponent support ults. objectively C&D is the only support that is better due to ult spam and cloak being able to counter most offensive ults in the game.

So the thing about Rockets ult is it actually lets you help some characters punch completely through other support ults. I started playing him after I died in a luna ult to rocket boosted damage dps. Its something like a 40% damage boost. You cancel an enemy support ult with his and melt their team in seconds.

Rockets biggest problem is his Ult requires teammates that can actually aim. Outside of that, Rockets primary fire has to much of a dropoff for it not to be hitscan, so its better to just clear Ankhs, Goots Walls or generally everything thats stationary. His short range damage is also pretty good against divers if they arent focusing you specifically.

Tim is too focused on comparing rocket to other healers, especially the ult. But he's useful in different situations. Other healers cant buff the entire team for 40% extra damage, the other characters can at most buff 12%. His ult is better for the boom / pushing phase not the bust. But depending it could still turn losing fights. He doesnt have burst healing to save people but his sustain does out perform most healers.
