In this Overwatch 2 video, Salty Phish and gang review competitive replays submitted by the community. In each game, a player has been accused on hacking or cheating, but we will judge if this accusation is false or not. It was much easier to tell when they picked hitscan heroes such as Cassidy or Widowmaker, so we could see flicks or times where the crosshair locked onto the enemy. Are the cheaters caught? Or is hacker gameplay actually just skilled gamers?

Yo imagine the CONTENT. Just OW devs and streamers in a call for hacker spectates, someone pulls out a hammer with BAN written on the side and smashes it on the keyboard and locks their account. If Blizzard was smart they’d do this in a heartbeat. We already have hacker replays let’s take it up a notch.

I remember watching a Flats clip (at least I believe it was him, I could be wrong, so please correct me if I am) where he talked about how Apex's devs have a team dedicated to watching content creator streams and instantly banning anyone the streamer comes across that is definitely cheating. I think something similar with OW team can happen. Like you said, there's plenty of creators watching replays of potential cheaters. All the devs need to do is have a small team dedicated to reviewing those videos/vods so they can ban the cheaters. I'm positive all the creators would even be willing to share the replay codes with the devs on this team so they can have access to it with their software.

For the parts where the 1st cheater was snapping to the Orisa instead of Ana, there are a lot of cheats that will have a setting that will prioritize the CLOSEST person to the cheater, rather than the one they're aiming at. ...I don't cheat, I've just played my fair share of TF2.

Just a quick tip. Go into options during the replay and scroll down, then turn on fine grained speed control. You can turn it down to 0.10x speed to make spotting cheaters even easier.

I wouldn’t say so from that clip alone. I’ve done this myself. The reason one misses the shot is that they’re firing with the expectation of movement and subsequent aim assist to kick in. When the aim assist doesn’t kick in (combined with potential latency issues), shots like this become easy to miss.

Regarding Uzi (Widow): A lot of these shots look like mine. Tracking just in the general area and the flicking the last bit or flicking entirely. I have a really small mousepad so I have to play on like a bit more than 60 sens. Mouse has 1000 dpi. Idk what my scope sens is right now though. It is important to me to be able to 180 during one jump. That's how I started playing fps to react fastly

the easiest way to identify hackers is when their general gameplay sucks. They suck at moving, they suck at positioning. They suck at entirety of the game, hence the need to hack

My friend was a widow main on ow1 and he was also incapable of hitting stationary targets, but could hit some pretty sick trick shots sometimes. When we 1v1'd, I would just wait for him to grapple up and wait for him to get in my los lol.

Uzi (the Widow in the first clip) I actually played against a week ago. He was playing as Widow again, and my teammate (Mercy) and I (Ashe) were dumpstering him. He got mad, and he turned on his hacks, but he was still ass. We ended up playing against him the next match too, and we won both the first and second matches. We reported him both times, and idk if he got banned or not.

Ok actually in the widow match I think there was infact a toggle as a few headshots the mouse justade a B-line to the head in a really weird way. Other times it may have bren his aim but some of these were just too quick of an adjustment. Not instant mind you but it was a fast enough lock on to look believable and also rather strange at the same time.
