Honestly 50/50 on wizard. The rogue was peaking him with his purple hands making him easy to see. There's at least 2 chances the wiz could have seen the rogue that we know of. When you switched to other chars rogue could have done a few bad peaks. Besides that as the barb showed up the wizard started creating space heading back towards the rouge. At that time the rogue decided to turn off a light and more importantly hit the wall twice to turn off purple hands. At this time there's a chance the wiz heard this and if he is a rogue player as well. Then he know exactly what that knocking sound is. At the end of the day when in doubt I say report. Let the devs check him out.

It just sucks because if he is cheating and you guys have him in your lobbies you won't know to be suspicious without his name.

that barbarian with the felling axe was 100% cheating. you can't swing the felling axe like that. notice how he's hitting shots with the start of the attack. also he's hitting farther away than the felling axe can reach.

There are cheats that change the attack animation of your weapon to some other, faster weapon making you attack a little faster.

@@dylancrosby2451 I havent seen a machine-gun bow since PT5. As for reach most have to go for minor increase or it becomes very obvious. IMO the only cheats you could get away with is walling and not being insane with them, and minor attack/movespeed boost in 2-3% range, as anything over that and good platers start sussing this things out.

This barbarian Currant killed me 3 times in a row one game after another. I told my friend i'll see his nickname in my dreams haha. He also wiped EVERYONE in a lobby in these 3 games. Kinda sus. P.S. I am DarkEnjoyerFighter from the video. I've been playing for 286 hours on steam only, not counting blacksmith launcher where i played like 300 hours for sure. Never cheated in any game in my life. When i was crouching on a bridge above troll room , i was listenning if someone is trying to kill troll, cause sometimes its hard to hear idk how to explain. Huge respect for pointing out the problem with cheaters, i banned 3-5 ppl myself, so the problem is real and its huge.

I'm on OCE and the cheater rate is about 10% on goblin caves solos and goes all the way up to 50% after midnight(I was getting 3 ban notifications a day). cheaters mainly play solo and goblin caves favors ambushing people. The devs stopped banning cheaters after a few weeks into wipe and I quit once the cheaters grew to every second match.

Oce is unplayable at night unless you want to fight the Chinese teamers and cheaters. You can't talk about it in the discord either, you get muted or timed out for even mentioning region locking, because its "discriminatory" (based on a true story)

(they hunt non chinese players)

First one was definitely using a combination of wall hack + big head. Big head cheat is something that makes enemy heads really big and combined with felling axe it's deadly, you can see how the felling axe bounces off immediately when he hits a skeleton. The wall hack was extremely obvious. For the wizard part, it's hard to tell, but indeed very suspicious.

123456ED is 100% walling. You're not tracking people through walls with the FPS drop, you're merely able to locate the general direction of players or find campy rats in a corner somewhere(only if you're close enough to them). The last Wizard might've caught a glimpse of the Rogue early on, or the Wiz might've also noticed the FPS drop(the rogue was in range). All you need to do is a quick 360 pan and look for 20-30+ FPS drops and you know someone is close(up to 1 module away) and in the direction. If you're getting drops in the 40+ range you know its battle ripe for the 3P.

The nice thing about this game unlike say a shooter is that even if someone is cheating they cant instant kill you with a headshot most of the time they still have to get in your face and skillcheck you.

For the wizard here is how I see it. (No Report) There is a chance the wizard saw the rogue, stayed clear of the door and told the barb after The wizard could have looked over to the rogue to check if he was being pushed a lot more that he did However, If the wizard checked the rouge in lobby he would know the rouge doesn't have creep or stealth (perks) so could be going on audio prompts Also with no stealth and ambush (perks), the chance of getting ambushed is lower. If he knew the rouge was there the convo could have been "Whoever wins will get 3rd partied by the rogue that is over there" it's not that I think the wizard isn't cheating, but I would have done the same as you have and not reported

Hay man just saw your videos. if youe editing with davinci resolve and your getting the video glitches when you swap scenes you can get rid of them in the render tab and changing keyframes from "Automatic" to "Every" and changing the box next to it to 1. I think the default value is 30. But yeah just for ease of refrence its Deliver Tab > Key frames (Right Above the advanced settings) Select Every, change the value to 1. If your not using davinci resolve then it might be a similar rendering issue if the distortions aren't on your base footage! Good video man keep up the amazing work.

Barb was rather cheating, you don't look at wall like that, only if you play with one hand and scratch your balls with other so even then if you are that confident and that bad it's super suspicious. Wiz one was sus, cuz even tho that rogue hit wall few times and turn off the light and wizard could see it, it was 4 mins after he started talking with barb so unless that rogue was impatient and was jumping to room in and out there is no way he could know the rogue was still there

Second game, I can already tell you that the wizard definitely would've spotted the rogue either when he ran from his encounter with the Barb or most likely when he campfired. You're hyper vigilant when camping, plus the purple glow on rogue is very visible. He was checking the door in case of a third party, door was open and he'd probably already seen the rogue. Lol, they definitely voiped and the wizard told him about the free loot that rogues are for Barbarians. I'd say 80% chance they aren't cheating. Especially as their previous gameplay did not seem sus.

Make sure you enable the volume equalisation enhancement in the windows sounds setting, this will make you be able to hear footsteps easier. If not for use then at least to eliminate that cause. Keep up the good work.

That wizard player definitely seemed richer than he should be for how he was playing, but It also seems like he could've scouted that rogue when the rogue saw him. Could be rich because everyone decided to switch to Wizard unfortunately due to the buffs lol. I'd say you made the right call censoring his name because he definitely seems like he could be someone who just VOIPs and is learning Wizard. A bit sussy tho These videos are really dope btw, I hope this encourages Iron Mace to make a system similar to how CS had (overwatch?) because this displays just how intrigued people are.

I'll just list them as they appear for me: up until at least 1:33 you're just saying "hes finding people all the time". I'm just supposed to believe you? you're a smaller content creator than he is, you have motive to release a video like this, so actually presenting evidence is important. just include the last couple minutes so we can determine if there's audio indicating where people are on the map for ourselves. 1:45 please, please, use < and > on your keyboard if you're trying to analyze aimbot flicks on youtube videos if you're going to be too lazy to download the video and put it in an actual editor where you can keyframe it. it's really not convincing when youtube is limited to 60fps. 2:10 seems like the video just starts now so I'll let the previous points go. 4:00 this barely seems sus. he checks the corner, then jumps and looks away from where the rogue is actually hiding. he doesn't even look back at the rogue until the rogue starts coming at him. I just don't see why this seems so suspicious. 4:19 these edits are just questionable. they're for humor value I know, but when you're trying to accuse someone of cheating this just makes me think you're doing it for the clout. 5:27 this is just explained poorly. so first you bring up the point of how can it be aimbot if he misses? then you say well of course there's travel time and the aimbot cannot account for that. but the player cannot be moving because he's casting MM. so if he cant be moving why talk about travel time? 5:34. if you actually use < and >, you can see that the entire video/game freezes for a bit when the druid transforms. you can call that sus if you want, but it clearly explains what you're seeing. if you want to visualize it further, look at how far he moves in the game using < and > in that one frame compared to the frames before and after it. it clearly is freezing up and resulting in what you believe is aimbot. and no, it's not just your render of the video, the freeze is in his original video as well. 5:45 even if the axe could violate the laws of space and matter and go through objects, it wouldn't have hit anyone before passing through the floor. maybe if his aim actually locked onto where the guy's head would be through the pillar, then that would be very convincing. but it doesn't. 6:24 the funny part about this is it doesn't even look like the previous things you called aimbot. this looks like a completely normal fight where someone can actually hit their opponent. 7:12 "wanted it to be dealt with in other ways" what ways. what did you try to have done besides make this video on your youtube channel. did you contact the devs and send them these specific parts of the video? 7:44 looks normal. but your opinion is it's impossible. I guess it's a difference in opinion but I personally believe people can move their mouse to adjust their aim within the ~25 frames you believe is impossible. 8:10 in his video, that is the first clip of that game. we can see the door is already open. we can see he's already wary of that direction at the start of the clip, and we'd be able to hear the door open in the clip if it was closed at that point. you can either take that as he's wallhacking and that's how he knows, or he heard something that isn't in the video. counterpoint: why was the enemy rogue also pre stealthing and why was he looking behind him to see the supposed cheater coming up from where he just came from? would you say they're both cheating???? 8:45 all this information is either gained from the lobby or from game time. it's really easy to guess how many hits someone has left when you use the same weapon for a long time. 10:17 jesus christ this part is so disingenuous is either disgusting or a shame on your part. this part is equal to 20:44 in his video. you can literally hear him say last time he saw a barb was near the warlock he had killed just previously in that match. then you say "yes he did fight a warlock but that was a couple modules away. my brother, it was in that same room. he's literally going to the exact location he killed the warlock, one of the bodies you're saying the other rogue is looting "the most feared players in the lobby". 11:18 yeah he got so mad. you said it yourself he could've looked at his loot in the lobby. the streamer is also using voice and streaming, not hard to put 2 and 2 together. this random ass clip from nowhere where he dies and you claim he got so mad just makes it seem like you don't like him to begin with. 11:38 in his video, he found the rogue at the start. rogue flees. he hears the rogue (and it's audible in the video) later and the rogue flees again. then he finds the rogue yet again in a room where many lights have been turned off. he even gets ambushed by him, seemingly not knowing precisely where he is. not convincing. 12:45 the other rogue literally finds him. what are you talking about. 13:05 nice aimbot. 13:25 doesn't even look back at the rogue after checking the corner until the rogue rushes at him. I'm not going to be any harsher and make any final comments. those were my observations and opinions.

Fun fact. Wizard is the class that abuses cheats the best. Aimbot is insane for hit-scan spells, walls enable perfect splash around corners and perfect distance gaging for chains. No landmining. Its amazing how many high end teams have cheating wizards.

I think adding a theater mode for trusted members of the community to be able to go back and watch suspicious games would be really helpful. You'd be able to see everyone and pause, rewind, etc. instead of having to frantically look around at everyone

It's weird that compared to EFT, there are so much more either rage-chaters or people who can't even use cheats properly. At this point it feels like the concentration of cheaters in normals might be even bigger than in EFT, which is unsurprising since they can do that basically for free. And the experienced cheaters can do all of the quests in normals and sell their accounts, also for free. And then we have to deal with the RMT'ers and accbuyers in HR, so we are not safe even there. At this point you're starting to wonder if going F2P was even a good Idea at all...

In that 2nd video you could also make an argument that the barbarian might have been cheating. It seemed like he didn't want to full commit on the mage because he knew the rogue was going to 3rd party. And he was the first one (between barb and mage) to look in the direction of rogue, he did it several times before the wizard looked over. The barb could have been informing the wizard that there was a rogue there and to not interfere (he would go kill). But he ends up dying in the process

Idk if it's been mentioned at all but there is something you'll notice between cheaters and real players. Cheaters almost always look directly at their target. Real players, like that rogue at 10:55 he sees the wizard but his cursor isn't hard locked to the wizard's head or something, the player is creeping, strafing and looking down and slightly away. They are using their actual IRL eyes to follow the wizard, not the cheats and their body language reflects it. A similar thing happened in the game with that Barbarian round 1, but in the other direction. When the two fighters tom and jerry their way out of the room and do the big circuit the Barb is strafing with his camera locked steady and smooth, turning slightly... because it's snapped to a player character in the game world. A real person may perform that same strafe+potion because they have excellent map awareness but their camera would either be towards the door THEY'RE GOING TO or maybe at the floor so their head is forward helping the in game audio pick up sounds. Also... aint no 20 fame wizard walking into a normal lobby with a legendary spell book and picking fights if they're a real person. That is a player with a TOTAL of maybe 4 hours of game play. I know what I'm like with the game at 150 hours. You're telling me an absolute timmy drops into the game, isn't intimidated by the sound-design, the mob movements, the map design, PVP? He's got a legendary spell book and is big dicking it in the dungeon? Nah, no way.

Just btw, if ur spectacting someone with high ping it will look like they hit people who they should not be able to. I play with my friend from the uk and he hits people at least an additional "swing length" away when i spec. In game it doesnt really look that for some reason.

Same, I took a decent kit into a regular lobby 1 time. I was instantly hunted off spawn, by a wizard telling me in the pre-lobby that he was going to take my gear (sure enough he ran right to me). Feels like the cheaters are mostly staying in the free realm.

Besides they just use stolen credit card information, which is easily obtainable online. 2000 hours in EFT, met several hundreds confirmed cheaters. 1000 Hours in Dark and Darker, never met a single confirmed cheater. I play 95% normals.

GOOD stuff yo. Those barb swings looked really crazy. But i dont really watch barb gameplay or know how it looks in spectator. KEEP the videos coming. Also im curious if its just in solos. Been getting absolutely wrecked in duos but im just chalking it up to being not good hahaha but might have to look into it. Ive reported a few people. An have gotten a couple ban messages. Maybe 4 people in a couple months.

That rogue was probably peeking a lot like he was before you swapped to them fighting and the wiz caught an arm in the doorway rogues are always as sneaky as they think. Also keep an eye out for esp body looters saw some sus fighter gulping gear from bodies all around the map staying perfectly away from players

Wizard with no torches is pretty suspect. Maybe running light orb on 5 spell, but even still torches are pretty important if you can’t already see people in the dark.

yesterday in duo i found a barbarian duo cheating... one of them killed the rogue that we were fighting ( full legendary rogue ) and then smash the door and kill me and my teammate with felling axe even tho we were not in range of felling axe... he kept hitting us even if we were ''far'' / he should have not be able to hit us. I got notification he got banned today. i don't know about his duo.

i don't think the wizard is cheating. there was to much camera switching to tell. he probably transferred the gear from another character. he either saw the rogue peeking at one point or heard him smacking the wall trying to get rid of rupture. the barbarian was 100% using ESP/walls + Extendo arm aimlock melee

You did see the rogue peek the door a few times but with the perspective switching you never saw if he did it when you were on someone else. It is very likely in my opinion that he might have been spotted or heard at the very least. Too much gray area there.

123456 was for sure cheating, the way his axe was working and also the hitbox was really weird, also he knew exactly where the rest of the lobby was I am not sure about the wiz but the fact that he was not looting any of the bodies until the end make it look really suspicious for him, I mean he is waiting till the very end to loot because he can see where every dead body is located... maybe?

I would bet money on the fact that the wizard is cheating. They way he circled the rogues location exactly with his cursor while pointing out the rogues position to the barbarian was nuts. Sure he probably could have seen the rogues purple hands, or maybe he heard the rogue proccing his ability on the wood, but the wiz barb were fighting for awhile after the point he saw him and proceeded to laser precision point him out through the wall.

Hmmmm... The wizard definitely knew he was there to begin with. The dude turned a light off and smashed his dagger in to the wood to reset his ability. But to still be 100% confident they're still sat there is interesting. Hopefully Ironmace has access to the VOIP as I think the confirmation lies in that communication.

Im the wiz in the vid, I main rogue, and rogues generally will gamp an entire raid if theyre running an ambush build for a third party especially on a wiz wearing good gear, so thats why i was confident he was still holding the door

This is why I turn off a lot of light sources in this game. I know when im undetectable, and I have caught many people taking "peeks" at me in the shadow. Reported their ass. Im not talking like a small portion of darkness their gamma could have helped either. Im talking pitch black modules and dudes opening doors and turning directly towards me. The problem is they simply cant come in and kill me or the death cam will get them banned.

The wizard telling the barb exactly where the rogue was after that long of a fight wouldn't be possible unless the wizard was cheating. Sure there is a very small chance that the wizard saw the rogue so checking the door several times makes sense but knowing for a fact the rogue was still there is incredibly fishy

I was the wiz, its just basic game knowledge. E specially with rogue just being nerfed. Rogues will camp a 3rd party for as long as it takes to secure a kill if they're running ambush

Wizards fine. Knowing where someone is once isn't that sus. The rogue made noise and couldn't sit still. He hit the wall twice which is really loud and noticeable in game. The actual cheaters you looked at were much more blatant bee lining for other players and constantly looking through walls. Also after reading the wizards comment I'd be more surprised if he didn't see the rogue at 10:49 rewatching that little bit again and again it looks like the wizard turns and looks right at the rogue

That first one was almost certainly cheating, but to play devils advocate (I know this isn't the case but still) he could've been using the FPS drop exploit. When you're looking at more than one players in a certain range your FPS will have a noticeable drop, it's possible he was looking around and knew about this drop. But judging by his lack of reaction to footsteps around when he died that is highly unlikely.

Why would a wizard ever push an open door that had someone hitting a wood log on the other side but nobody ever showed up even if they could third party his fight with the barb? And the conversation could have easily been about exactly that, the wizard telling the barb "there must be a rogue in there since I heard something hitting wood but nobody showed up" then again, you can never know and that sucks

Wiz wasn't in audio range at that point. Rogue hit the wood to get rid if the purple ability on his hands, making him harder to spot.

I have dozens of clips of people cheating versus myself and mates. All of them 100% obvious as hell. But that Wizard is unlikely to be cheating IMO. He could have technically seen the rogue in the doorway when he first came into the room. If rogue can see him, wizard can see rogue back.. so there is a chance. Also, the rogue opened that door INWARDS, meaning someone had to be coming in from that direction but there were still mobs in the room alive. The other thing is that the rogue was hitting the wall with his dagger hoping to bait someone to come in a check it out... wizard was definitely within earshot of that. Only really sus thing is that the barb and wiz stopped fighting, and the wizard SOMEHOW got the barb to leave him alone and go snoop behind the door. Barb throwing a torch indicates that the wizard knew it was a rogue. Only sus thing I will say.

I very often come across people that have the misconception of extraction based games cheating deeply seated in their minds. Its all "cheaters are RMTers" with them, but its a baseless generalization. Most people who cheat do so casually because they're gutless little turds that consider themselves entitled to fun for doing as little as launching the game, and their concept of fun leaves much to be desired in the first place. Good players may look like they're cheating, but cheaters arent good at the game and even with software being there to help there's much to be desired. As the video described it, they are scared and indecisive. Players shed these rookie traits as they get more experience with the game, but hey why learn anything when you can hack right? I'm speaking from experience as I've known a guy who used to do just that. We're no longer friends for unrelated reasons, but cheating was a major red flag I've always kept in mind. One good thing about games (all kinds) is that people really express their real selves here, and usually without even knowing it.
