I first learned this from Ellusionist “How to do street magic” I think! This trick is a reputation maker and it is so simple! Your own unique patter is what makes this trick!

If I had that one that was taught last week, I wouldn't even bother with a black surface because I'd cover the coin up with the part that's completely opaque and do the false pretense of removing it from the cover and then vanishing it with my hand and showing the coin reappeared under that cover.

Daryl always did a great job! Sad he’s gone. I would at some point discover a Spectator’s birthday month then later have them assist me. They would find a 4 of a kind matching their birth month. Of course use an appropriate patter. If you learn birth month of 2 Specs then you could control two sets of 4 of a kind to top of deck. Have 1st participant find their own month then immediately state it always works. Then reinsert their 4 cards into middle of deck… false shuffle… false cut. Have 2nd participant find their 4 of a kind.

Two 1988 Topps Dan Quisenberry baseball cards and two 1988 Donruss Dan Quisenberry baseball cards would be the ones. I purposely picked a player who most baseball card collectors would remember. If I could meet a baseball player who wasn't considered a star player, I would gladly shake his hand and give him a hug and tell him that the important thing is that he tried his best when it came to baseball.

I first lean this from royal road to card magic poker player picnic. Daryl's is one of the time greats. Queen on top would be my choice just because of the assembly I do which was created by Daryl and the method works better with court cards or numbers
