The big snowfield with all the cliffs in the last half of the video is called Rock Garden. Located lookers left on the ridge above the gondola. It's some of the best east coast backcountry and you only have to hike 15 minutes to get there.

Quite possibly the best soundtrack to a ski vid. Surely, however, quite the opposite of what might play inside the heads of the skiers!

Spectral 8 and 7 show another level for you guys IMO. Also props for a segment on Louise (who I don't know) - but that is so good for my daughter to see. Skis like a boss!

@willb72793 жыл бұрын
I’m not completely sure because I haven’t skied stowe a ton but I know that if you walk straight back from the peak there’s some good backcountry out there in between stowe and Smugglers, you can also hike to the top of mount mansfield

skittlebeape the powder after he went passed?

Avery Hartman before he skis over it, it looks like chunks of snow are missing, like what it looks like after an avalanche

@extreme_ryan_delena7 жыл бұрын
terrablader Never? almost every time I've been there's been powder, sometimes falling from the sky, sometimes stashed away in the woods or high in the Alpine Zone.
@greggould24578 жыл бұрын
Was that at the Stowe Side-country?
@extreme_ryan_delena7 жыл бұрын
Greg Gould yes, all the cliff hucking above tree line in the last half of the video was in Rock Garden. That's actually right above the curve of Upper Perry Merrill, easily accessed by hiking Cliff Trail. The icefall shots were probably filmed in the Outer Planets. I've never skied those but I know where they are. You can get there most easily by traversing out from Chin Clip, but you can't get back to a lift from there.
