I work with epilepsy and brain signals, this is the only video that actually explains it in a understandible manner. THANKYOU

Watching spectrograms is a personal obsession of mine, and I've always felt that teaching children to understand them was just as important as teaching musical notation. I'm very happy to see you guys are putting together some videos on this! I'll definitely pass it along to my teacher friends.

My favorite visualizer, I would like to have a dedicated screen on my wall for it. Also fun to do the opposite process with programs like AudioPaint to convert pictures to sound and back again with the spectrogram.

I use this to analyze the bird calls and songs I record. It's very helpful especially in spotting blind spots and new sounds.

Thanks for making this. I have always wondered how to read these things. I'm under the impression that one would use a spectrometer to determine where the empty spaces are in a mix in order to blend instruments yet maintain their maximum individuality?

❤ The interesting thing for me was hearing more things vibrate at more than one speed per second. AaaaaaaAaa vs the whistle. 1:15-1:20 minutes mark.❤❤❤ That explains the whole thing for me

I am doing a project on detecting depression from a person's speech. And for this we analyze the spectrograms. Do you have any idea on software that produces spectrograms in real-time or near real-time?
