Oh my god you don't know how happy I was to see this in my recommended. This is frickin amazing! This show is literally my favorite cartoon out there, and you perfectly described it with this masterpiece. Your artstyle combined with the dark secrets the story of OTGW holds is such a balanced pair, the effects of lighting and shading you put on the cutesy characters while the Beast is covered in shadows and darkness, it's just such a perfect contrast in what the actual show was about. This is officially one of my favorite pieces from the fanbase, thank you so much for making this. And that's a rock fact in my book! Seriously though, keep up the amazing work!

I personally(maybe because I was getting myself too hyped :/) wouldn't call it the best cartoon I've ever seen, somezhing was off but I can't tell what, which is why I'm glad it was short, so it was a very endearing story to watch out of boredom. Fun fact: Over the Garden Wall was the first animated series that made me cry. Not just that, but it came at a dark time in my life when I needed to let myself cry, to just let my built-up emotions out, but held it in anyway, and suffered for it. Long sob story short, I owe the now positive direction of my life to this regrettably short series.
