This was so beautifully filmed. I felt as though I was flying through each of the floats. The sound was amazing, editing was on key. The ending, when the last float passed through the trees... it looked like it dispersed into pixie dust. Great job! Definitely sharing!

I really missed my time working for Disney in this parade into work was the best really sad this one Parade will never be seen again but im sure somewhere out in this big world some of my former cast member still search the net looking for these videos to relive the memories. Big thanks to everyone that recorded this Parade for keeping the memory alive so others who didn’t see it can see what a awesome parade it was.

One of the great memories of Disney I have is SpectroMagic. Want to take my daughter to Disney next year,so its a shame they no longer have have SpectroMagic.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I for one am a fan of SpectroMagic & will miss this parade immensely. Although I do like the Main Street Electrical Parade, I have always felt that it belongs at its original home at Disneyland in California while SpectroMagic is unique to & feels right at home at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom. I would first like to say that this video is INCREDIBLY well down. Having been a cast member in this parade a few years back, it feels great to see this in such great quality. Now I would love to know how you got such amazing sound quality. I have been looking for a good music track that has the entire parade route background music with each floats music on top. (Like you hear during the parade, and not on the official soundtrack). This is the best version I have found, with the trumpeters, and the Spectromen section...Incredible. Thank you.

Wow...this one of the absolute best videos I’ve seen of this parade. This beautiful parade is in my childhood memories visiting Disney World. What always stood out of it in my mind was the AMAZING fanfare. It has rang in my head ever since and it drove me one night to search on Google if there was a way to purchase that music. I bought a CD at Disney springs and it turned out the soundtrack wasn’t there, so I was bummed but later discovered it’s own cd online and I purchased it, so now I can play it and relive those distant memories. (Those two CDs I bought eventually turned into a full fledge collection of Disney park CDs and it’s truly all cuz of SpectroMagic) thank you for this video!!!

Just came back to watch this in honor of Ron Logan. RIP. I hope when Disney management gets off their butts and greenlights a new nighttime parade for the Magic Kingdom, I hope they decide to do what Tokyo Disneyland did with the TDEP: Dreamlights with Spectromagic. Give us an updated version of the music, redo some of the classic floats with newer technologies and give us some new floats that fit in. The Main Street Electrical Parade and Paint the Night are great and all; but Spectromagic is the quintessential nighttime parade for WDW!

I feel like all the old Disney is getting less and less. I don’t recognize half the songs or characters and it saddens me and makes me feel like Disney is only for those young who grew up with the recent stuff. Like little mermaid was 80s but Alice and wonderland Peter Pan are from the 50s and I think they really need to blend better the different eras and also keep old 80s special effects just fix them

Let's NEVER forget. The murder of SpectroMagic was a sort of 9/11 for a LOT of Disney fans. This video helps me forget what really happened. I like to pretend it did in fact disperse into pixie dust. What really happened is too painful - I have strong sentimental attachments to this parade.

interesting fact : the gate it eixts through in Frontierland (at least from the guest vantage point) was added when when Splash Mountain was built. the bigger gate just before the railroad tracks used to be the end of the parade route from the guests perspective

So blessed I got see this parade even if it was one time, the music is simply beautiful and as a dancer my dream was to be a butterfly or dragonfly in this parade. LoL. I have the audio track on my tablet and still dance to it sometimes...

This is amazing, how does this not have 100k+ views? Outstanding. I am partial to the MSEP, but this is a great way to preserve the memory of this incredible parade. Very sad that Disney trashed it the way they did as in my opinion, it was the ONLY worthwhile successor ever to the original Main Street Electrical Parade! (Paint the Night is total garbage!)

Spectromagic had to be shut down due to the floats and costumes being damaged during the Hurricanes that occurred that year. They couldn't fix them. Believe me, it saddened Disney to have to close the show. I just wish they could have updated the MEP a little bit. I miss some of the Character floats they use to have for it, (the Little mermaid, beauty and the beast and pinnochio, tinker belle, sleeping beauty also miss the Tick Tock Crocodile that followed after Mr. Smee as well as characters costumes lighting up, such as Cindrella, Flora, Fawna and Merryweather, Snow White, Ariel, belle and Tinker Belle.) I wonder what became of those. Now you can barely see the characters. Just incase people were wondering no, I am not confusing Spectromagic with MEP. They really did have those floats. The show lasted a lot longer then it does now. Of course that was back in 2004 or 2008.
