I am an SLP from No. Calif bilingual and in the process of starting a telepractice.I was wondering how you got started with early intervention. Do you contract? Would appreciate your input. Love you video ideas. Thank you for sharing.

Hi! I’m glad you found these ideas useful. I used to live in SF and worked in a preschool and did independent contracting for private company in Early Intervention. After my move to Southern California and becoming a mom, I started my private practice. I only take private pay but will be contracting with the regional center soon to serve a wider range of clients. I never thought I could be as effective doing teletherapy with the little ones but now I can see incorporating more of it. I found my clients through baby sign classes I teach and word of mouth. I’m still figuring things out slowly, one tiny step at a time. Best of luck with your practice!
