Isn’t it sad and ironic that the bishop laments about the plight of the poor while he changes his new Benz car every two years! This is what Christianity has come to. He wants everybody to pray for him, but not word about prayer for the poor!

@@anjuthomas4551 Remember, he represents Christ in this world ( who traveled on a donkey). Also, all these people who wear cassocks gain their money because of their position in the Church. Hence, their money belongs to the Church. To use such money on them is taking it away from the poor of the Church. In this sense, he is not any different from mega church founders in many countries who live in luxury through the use of their church position.

@@dealsisle JESUS CHRIST lived on earth upto 33 years. The state of his followers were very bad in terms of money. But that's not the case today's Church. This Church father has lived 94 years. He started service from very young age. You are talking about his Benz. What you don't know is that he sold his Chevrolet Impala car to purchase a property for the Church. Now there is a Church and regional office. So, now in this time of prosperity, he can have a Benz. Because that what JESUS CHRIST promised, what ever you forsake for the cause of JESUS CHRIST, you will get 10 times back!!!!! The Church leader owning a Benz is not the real problem that Jacobite Church facing. It's facing an existential threat because of Kottayam based faction I with a lot of influence and money power of two major corporates of Kerala!!!! We Jacobites knows this fact very well.
