( *read to get the gist of whats happening, trying to keep it spoiler free* ) To clear up some confusion the new characters are Eldians fighting for Marley as you can tell from the star arm band, also the battle taking place is with a whole other faction that's at at war with Marley and has nothing to do with Paradise island. The time has been skipped 3 years into the future (Note, lots of stuff has happened within the 3 years) hence why Reiner has a beard and is back fighting for Marley and why the majority of the characters look different (imo Jean looks the most changed with way longer hair). Also the Jaw titan really does look like a "Jaw titan" now and has been handed over to Marley and has a new owner, and the Titan with the mounted guns was in fact the "Cart titan" seen with Zeke the Beast titan in season 3, and The new all white titan is called the "Warhammer titan". hope this summary helped people understand why trailer had all these different characters and a new setting, Comment if you would like me to elaborate on anything i might of missed or just want to info on.
