Speed collar removal for Arctic Cat DVX 90 - FASTER!

I can vouch for this mod working on 2010 and 2011 Arctic Cat (utility) 90's. Two additional tips: (1) there are a couple of spacers (small bushings) sitting in the bolt holes between the outer case and the main block. Don't lose 'em. (2) One of the bolts was shorter than the others, and you need to make sure it goes back in the correct hole. The difference was amazing! Thanks!

This is exactly what we needed, I was so pissed at the performance of a brand new tracker 90, I felt ripped off and just blew my money on a joke then found this video and now it runs like an actual atv should, went from 10 to 15 mph to 30 plus mph and no more stupid rev limiter constantly being triggered, I understand safety features but they over kill the safety crap on tracker atvs, leave the speed decisions to the parents and have control of said features not for the company to decide how fast I go, anyway I'm ranting, I was pissed but thanks to your video I'm now happy

Try changing the weights and springs that will let you build higher rpms to take off faster. On the centrifugal clutch

Pretty much the same process for Can-AmDS 90s my only advice would be to trim or cut that spacer and not remove it all together because you risk throwing your belt. if the clutch compresses too much the belt pops off the top

I get all the way to exposing the belt drive and putting that 17 mm socket on that center bolt but the belt drive turns with the bolt. How did you keep it stationary so you could loosen that center bolt?

Will this work on the 50 model too? It seems to be on the rev limiter all the time. It's the right size for my kids but they need a little more speed. Throttle stop is completely out so if this will give us even 1-2 mph it will be big for them.
