The way you do the eyes is AMAZING. Every time you start on them, I'm like, "No way are those soft paint colors gonna work--" and then BAM! All the sudden they're super shiny and in-depth and gorgeous~

Guys, the first step to draw something good is to stop whining about your skills and stop comparing yourselves to professionals who have years of experience. Learn to think outside of the flat canvas, learn perspective, shading, techniques and take your time. If you sit down, draw something in 10 minutes and you say that you're done chances are you did something wrong. A good drawing takes more than 1 hour most of the time, but for detailed pieces it can easily go up to 5-6 hours or even more. You are not forced to do the whole thing in one session, go, do something else then when you feel like it come back and continue. But above all else: Make drawings, not excuses. :)
