Thanks for this, I used your paint guide to paint my s2 minis. Very helpful

Cool classic color scheme.

Really appreciate this! The magnets are a great way to go. Also; love the technical paint for the bases.

Really sold me on the Contrast Paint. I'm interested in Blitz Bowl now too :)

Yeah, it's a fun game. Make sure to check out my next video as it's on a 3D printed Blitz Bowl pitch!

I know I'm very late with an answer but that transfer sheet you got is the one that came in the 2nd Edition (2020) starter set, for Imperial Nobility and Black Orcs. I didn't quite like that it doesn't have the name for the positionals but it's a nice source for numbers and emblems!

Thanks for the reference! I was able to use the numbers for both the humans and undead so it worked out.

Was it cold or windy when you sprayed the primer? It looked textured.
@gaminggeek24110 ай бұрын
Yes, it was the middle of winter. It's not so much textured as the paint is splotchy--hence the large dots.

And here comes the master of Contrast Speed Painting! You reach a great table top standard with this. Funny though, that when I paint my minis I usually get annoyed when the speckled highlights still shine through but your final result looks good (although I see it being the case too while you are painting) But I think I am too much self-critical and it depends on where one wants to end up (gaming (my actual goal) or displaying).

Would you be able to tell me what you used to base coat these? Sorry if I missed it from the video, I couldn't see it

I used zenithal highlighting using white rattle can over black as shown in this video (although don't bother with using Montana Gold--I just used cheap white from Rustoleum): kzbin.info/www/bejne/e2fIqmNspN-YppI But in retrospect, don't bother with zenithal--just spray prime the whole thing white.

Can I just ask how on earth you managed that look with the Arkhelian Green? When I use it, it comes out much much darker, to the point where it’s a very dark non-translucent blue

So how fast is a speed paint for a team for you here. I didn't hear a time frame.
@gaminggeek2412 жыл бұрын
It's been a while so I don't remember but I was able to paint a team in one evening--so maybe about three hours?

@@gaminggeek241 Thanks! I HATE painting myself. Not the actual painting, but I want to play more.

Where do you get your brushes and what kind do you prefer?
@gaminggeek2413 жыл бұрын
I buy the cheap ones that come in packs at Hobby Lobby/Michaels or even at Walmart. They cost about $5 or so for a pack. I experimented with buying the artist brand single sable brushes but they didn't last any longer than the cheapo ones.
