To me, 3 layers of art here: the drawing itself (amazing!!), the music (the icing on the cake), but then the little girl herself was innocence personified. It's like displaying the creation of the artwork is an art unto itself (does that make sense?). That 4+ minutes did wonders to help me relax after a crazy day.

Coupled with the music, this is one of the most beautiful things I have EVER experienced . . . no exaggeration. I don't know how, but it struck a chord in the deepest reservoir of my soul. Stripped of the irrelevant, the pretentious, and the distractive, it facilitated the resurgence of emotions that I had repressed so deeply that I forgot they were there. My vision is impaired by the tears that blanket my eyes. Or is it through these tears that I see the clearest? Thank you . . .

The fact that it's an artist's interpretation of a photograph does indeed make it art. Also the fact the artist is using his artistic knowledge (light, shadow, form, proportion, etc.) to make the image, which has a different quality than a photograph (a much better one in my opinion - because it shows how this artist can put his skills to work), makes it a piece of art. There is NO debate, this is widely accepted as art. If you wanted to argue if it's a masterpiece, then you have a debate ;)

I'm usually a very critical person when it comes to this kind of work, but this fella has the tecnique nailed. Similar to how I'd go about it. Clean, detailed, and fast. How it should be done.

Wow! Amazing! I posted in another video that I wondered how many layers you're using... Now I'm also wondering how big you images are. You zoom in on the eyes to paint the eyelashes and it's still sharp as h... Ehm... In any case it's incresibly clear and the pixels don't stand out. How big are you're images in Photoshop? And if you would answer my other question, too, I would be very grateful.
