Speed Painting: Loose Watercolor Chickadee

Loose watercolor from start to finish. Many of you asked to see the process based on a few photos I posted on Instagram. It's not exact, but watercolor is impossible to duplicate. Hope you enjoy, and thanks for watching!

Wow! A QUALITY speed-painting demo! (slow enough to see the whole process, hand not in the way, can see palette too, it told how long the actual painting took and very beautiful results, love the spontaneous background organically arising while painting the bird. Kudos & Thanks!

Dawn, that was absolutely wonderful! Aside from the enjoyment of watching you paint, seeing the chickadee come to life was amazing. I love to watch the birds outside of my window and I have parrots. Those feet were perfect. That's exactly how they look gripping a branch. His eye made him look alive! You have so much talent.
