FFS man... With one video you sold me on: - getting into the hobby with 0 affinity to arts in my life so far (but I did draw extensive stickman-jedi-kung-fu fights in my youth) - Warhammer 40k - reservation of pre-order spot for Indomitus box (prices in Poland rumored to be quite nice) - Necrons - texture paints. All of that in my 30s. Father of two with like, 4 hours of free time per week. GW should send you a "Thank you for his money" note. I'll probably go for more clayish base color though, with warmer and colder violets to compliment. Need to see that first though. Also, great music.

Can't believe I haven't commented on this. What a fantastic tutorial. I painted my Indomitus necrons using this scheme and loved the look. I didn't want to play Necrons, so I sold them for some other army bits but I've recently really regretted it because I really love how the paint scheme looks on them. I recently printed a ton of Robot Legions from OnePageRules and they're getting the Sandstone treatment. It's just too good a look to not do. Thanks for all you do, Guy. I wouldn't be the painter I am today without your guidance.

Absolutely love all your videos, and wanted to share a quick tip about fine detail painting. When holding the figure in one hand, rest your painting hand against your other hand (e.g. hold your hands against one another). This will steady your brush hand. I have seen this done in so many videos, but never once has someone actually pointed it out. I remember when I first started doing this how quickly my painting improved. Thank you, as always, for all your amazing content!
