It's crazy how good this looks with such simple steps.

I wish I could post pictures to this but I just want to say: I got into tabletop wargaming a few months before COVID started with some Napoleonic and ancients. About six months ago I ordered a bunch of bolt action sets. I painted a squad from each major nation and they were ok nothing terrible but absolutely below average. Which I expected I'm a below average painter. But I finally decided to actually watch a painting tutorial and paint along for once. The first video of yours I tried that with was your us airborne tutorial....I watched the video once through and then went back and painted and paused a bit and the very first model I did came out incredible. No exaggeration it is by far the best paint job I've ever done after one video. I wouldn't even have said this if I wasn't so shocked especially when I put it next to an a us airborne figure I painted before watching the video. Again I'm not a good painter but for the first time I have a legitimately good looking model. So needless to say I'm going on a binge of your tutorial list to do all the rest lol. But yeah man thank you this helped immensely

Painting "A whole army of them" is an understatement.

I’d love to see a German Hannomag with the stripy woodland Camo done without using an airbrush, I’ve seen you can use bluetack but I’ve been too scared to try it myself!

get masking putty... blutac is an adhesive and can remove your paint.

Great work! Have you considered any planes, like the Corsair F4U? Think you’d make one look amazing.

Please add numbers to the list of used paints. And could you do a video of how to paint a Panzer IV without an airbrush?

I have some Sherman's primed with a grey. What would the result be if I tried this technique without a black primer?
@0xua_hod Жыл бұрын
you probably got the answer yourself by this time :D although if anyone's wondering grey primer will result in lighter overall look of the model as all the colour will be drybrushed on lighter surface and you will have less colour contrast. as a result model could look a bit flat. it can "fixed" by applying dark washes in some areas or using other technics.

Thank you for great video. But IMO, the highlight created by the light color edges is too much. I see thousand of pictures of real tanks, they dont have that level of highlight at the edge. In real life, the tank's main color looks much more uniform than what modelers are usually doing. The over contrast tank models look impressive for about few seconds, then we will feel something wrong because they just dont look real.
