I just read the script for the movie and the Musha motors driver shaving his neck came to try and take out Speed in the locker room but Gray Ghost cut him off and Gray Ghost warned speed about the bounty, technically Gray Ghost saved speeds life, Gray Ghost had more scenes and Dialogue in the Grand Prix race

T-180 cars function similar to that of a shopping cart with a Jet engine…. But the back wheels lock up using a pedal in the bottom where the Gas, Brake, and Jet throttle…. Once stepped on, the back wheels unlock using spring technology that keeps the wheels locked in place…. The jet booster can hurdle them into 400 MPH if given a long enough straight…. The cars as extremely light and use power cells along with fuel based engines to support normal acceleration…. The axels are built with thinner pieces to make the car much lighter and the bodies are made of composite material…. The computers are a “Dragster Power Unit” that doesn’t waste time giving power to the entire system fluidly…. THESE cars CAN be BUILT…. Just without the jet thruster….

That funky 360 degree all wheel steering might be some trouble to piece together, though. Seemingly the cars have the drive to the main wheels mounted past the suspension, and the wheels barely attached at all, with no axles to speak of - unless it disconnects each time the wheel needs to turn, though given the back wheels' resistance to it sometimes, that might also make sense.

In a crash the driver can activate the quiksave, or the computer can detect the car is in a critical state and force eject just like we saw what happened with Snake Oiler at Thunderhead and Cannonball at GP.

I have a few myself, including the Mach 5, the Mach 6, the GRX, the Shooting Star (Racer X's street car) Taejo's street car, Snake Oiler's street car, the Augury (Racer X's T-180), and Hydrophiidae (Snake Oiler's T-180). I used to have the Mach 4, Delila's street car, Seppuku (Kakkoi Teppodama's T-180), and Fumee (Gray Ghost's T-180) but I sadly lost them years ago.
