You should put all your rarely used palettes in a box and just pick one randomly! That could make for an interesting series of shorts on how to construct an eye look from beginning to end :) I personally struggle with like looking at one of my palettes and thinking "what can I do with this?? which one goes first??"

this is such a great idea, im gonna write that down 📝 honestly, i sometimes "hold myself back" because i'm afraid how "intense" my eyeshadow will be for work or just in general a little self-conscious.

Excited to see the rest of your collection! To answer your question, lately I've been loving the Spring Dragon palette by Oden’s Eye! The pastels are so nice for spring and are so fun to use.

thank you, glad you're enjoying this mini series so far 🫶🏻 odens eye spring dragon palette is so dang pretty, i've been (slowly) trying to incorporate colour into my daily life. so i've been using the pastel purple, browns and the wet shimmers. just to kinda dip my toes in colour again 🥰

@@itskrystle ooh okay, the romand kuromi one i have decided to get soon, but i'm also looking at the dasique palettes, the clio air ones, unleashia's all of brown, wakemake, and kaleidos (not on yesstyle but still). that's far too many for someone whose eyeshadow style is the furthest from adventurous lol. i already have a lip tint addiction i can't feed this one too

Thank you for this video! I’ve been trying search for what eyeshadow palettes I should get and I’ve recently discovered that Asian shimmer eyeshadows are so beautiful and glittery! The new wakemake blurring palettes are more mute. They take the existing one and sap the saturation from it to match the curretn trend in korea

Thanks for the video! I have that same issue with the No.1 Unleashia palette where the Refine shade keeps popping out. I travel with it so eventually I decided to just squish it in as hard as I can (it's squishier than you think) and it hasn't popped out ever since (it's been about 3 months since... fingers crossed). I have tried the mermaid collection from Flower Knows (eye palettes 1 and 4) the glitters are amazing and the mattes are creamy. Palette 4 has a more unique colour story (Purples!) compared to palette 1. It's so interesting to see someone else's opinions on the palettes I already have/ want to get. Looking forward to more :)

omg good to know i'm not the only one experiencing the shade popping out 🥸 but mine keeps falling out repeatedly 😔 thank you for sharing about your experience with flower knows, love that for you! they sound like a dream to work with. i literally had palette 4 mermaid dream in my cart on yesstyle but eventually shifted it to my wishlist because girl, i have more than enough purple eyeshadows.... (but i want more 🤓)
