Every time I hear one of my famous makeup KZbinrs endorse a particular product from affordable brand like E.L.F over a high end product that doesn’t perform as good as the drug store brand, I just imagine some marketing executive watching Taylor’s video like, “Yeah! Elf has been KILLING it here lately! That brow lift is amazing. I also finally tried the putty bronzer and brush... LIFE CHANGING. Also super aggravating I love it more than my high end ones 😂 So they've went on the back burner. I've been leaning elf on all that plus concealer for contour and bronzer (elf or maybelline fit me on contour then Age Rewind for bronzer if I'm not using elf). I'm impatiently waiting on Elf Lip Gloss Stain restock! Glamzilla posted about it and they all went out of stock. Hoping they come to ulta 🤞

The elf lip stain is gorgeous. I have the sienna color and find it to be comfortable and a long-lasting stain. Hope you like it once you get it!

Ok so I’ve been watching you for years and I’ve always loved and value your recommendations and reviews. We have similar skin concerns and complexions and aesthetics. Knowing that you’re from La Jolla and still love affordable makeup, but actually just products that work for the sake of a good product, I love you even more 😂. What I mean is, I appreciate that you’re not boujee just for the sake of being boujee, and that high end products don’t sway you merely for the name. I love all makeup from high end to drugstore. For me it’s all about the quality of the product. I know it can be a stereotype, but we know how people who live in certain areas can be sometimes.

I HAVE to tell you about a product. While waiting for the Makeup Revolution line fix undereye primer to come back into stock I tried the R.E.M. cooling blurring undereye balm (now sold in ulta)). It ERASED my undereye creases. I have similar undereyes to you, difficult. I’m 30 and no powders work. This is a game changer!!

The same thing happened to me with the CoverGirl brow gel. It was working great. No flakes, great hold and I didn't need to use another product to fill in any sparse areas but then one day it was a hot mess. I tried to find that Elf gel at 4 different stores. No luck. Picked up the jar that has pigment to it. The opening is so small. There's no way to get a spoolie in there. Now I'm at a loss, lol...

I LOVE the Half-Caked bronzers. I got mine in the shade Coolness about a month ago, because they were out of Morning View on Amazon. I absolutely love it! I'm about the same skin tone as you, so I don't need much. It just blends out so effortlessly. The thing I love most is the number of shade options they have for cream bronzers at drugstore picing. There are not many drugstore cream bronzer options and the few there are only come in 1-2 shades. It made my makeup loving frugal heart happy!

After watching your Accutane? (Sorry if I spelled it wrong) videos, I have put my two acne prone teenagers on it. My oldest has finished using it and it really cleared up her deep, cystic acne so much. My son just started. His acne is more topical but it's all over his face, back, chest and arms. He's so hopeful it works before he starts high school next fall. I appreciate that you logged your journey for people to see. Thank you 😊

I tried the elf stains and I too have experienced the stain being different than the gloss color. Although, I experience that with most lip staining products so I wasn't surprised.

I got that gloss and I kept tasting celery , so bizarre. I’m glad that I’m not the only one who got the root vegetable vibe from that gloss 🥕ha ha.

My experience isn't with this gloss but I had a similar one when using CP's lip oils. The taste was that of fennel, lol. Funny enough. I hate the taste of black licorice yet love the taste of fennel when it's in sausage... 🤷‍♀️ 😄

I had a neutrogena lip balm/lip stick core thing like 15 years ago that I loved. If they still sell those and you like that kind of format, I’d highly recommend you give it a try!

I’m almost 46 with a little texture , pores and fine lines and love the NYX primer I find it so softening and silky and even my tinted moisturizer sits nice on it and it made it last all day

Those Milani lipsticks are everything! They have a whole Nude line in that formula too they're gorgeous! Make sure the tube has the gold band those are the mattes! The Fleur line is gorgeous too!! I've seen them at Walmart, Walgreens and Ulta

So happy I watched!!! I’ve had the Half-Baked cream blushes in my collection and totally forgot about it!!! I definitely need to pull them out and put them back into my rotation!!! I love Sydney Grace’s palettes!!! I need to get one of their more neutral ones!!! Not sure if I will get the Coffee one or the one on your eyes in this video. Their formula is my fave! The shimmers are so smooth for being so intense. It makes them approachable for my more “mature” eyes👍🏼❤️So many goodies here❣️Thanks, Taylor🥰

Since you like blurring primers, I was loving the new hourglass vanish primer and wondered if you tried it yet? I usually don’t think primers do anything special but this one actually makes my foundation look so much better and I’ll also put it on by itself after skincare because I feel like it smoothed my face and actually blurs my pores and texture. There’s definitely something about it that agrees with me and I usually don’t have anything that is a holy grail but this may be it! It’s pricey tho.

You always use the ELF putty primer brush for creams, buuuut do you like the actual putty primer and the putty blush/bronzer?

On the refy it did the same residue whiteness on me too, sounds so weird but try to slick up ur brows with ur fingers and it takes away the residue but still slicks it up. See if that works also the make up by Mario works bomb.

I’m struggling with the Refy gel too…I LOVE the look it gives, but I get white flakes. It’s 100% better before any foundation/concealer because it will mix those products in even if you’re careful and look crusty. I’m gonna try it a little longer, but the benefit 24 he setter is a lot better. I think I’ll try the Patrick Ta gel next!

I bought some Sydney Grace shadows. I got a couple or the dark blues, a rust, a taupe and starry nights. The packaging was stunning. Shipping was super fast. I had been looking for a sheer navy color I could sheer out for quite some time. I was so excited to see the variety of colors she has on her site. I didn't realize I will need a empty palette to place the singles in but now I get to look for one of those which I secretly always wanted a reason to buy anyway!

The shimmers in The Coffee Talk palette by SG are so disappointing. I swapped them out for other lighter, brighter metallic shimmers from SG I already owned. But the mattes are wonderful. (The shimmers would probably make good one & done shades since they are on the dark side but if you're expecting shiny, metallic pops---these aren't it)

My favorite videos to watch... Edit to add: have you tried pulling the tip of the Flower eyeliner out and turning it to the other side... I'm not explaining it well but a lot of eyeliner has a double sided tip that you can pull out and turn it to where you use the other side.. hope that makes sense lol 😂😆.

Cheaper than any brow product and works better than them all. Buy a glycerin bar of soap and use a spoolie. It works amazingly and I had a makeup artist do this to all of us daily on a set.
