S Kartoredjo But she’s not talking while she’s working; it’s an audio overlay. Watch again and you’ll see.
@CallumKartoredjo6 жыл бұрын
@@toonybrain Yes that is sort of true! However, what you hear is her talking while working pasted on a shortened video. Her sculpture took 3 hours, the video is 13 minutes. So they have 3 hours of sound to work with. Since we do see her talk 'live' at some points, I assumed she talked with the same ease overal. But who knows how tweaked it is tho, so you do have a point.

This is the method Rodin used - it was described in the back of a book I have on his work. But I've never heard the part about scaling down gradually through the tools - that's brilliant! Such a treat to see it come to life so rapidly. I wonder how long she actually took to do that?

Great video! Does anyone know what brand of clay she is using and if she fires the clay in a kiln or let's it air dry?? Thanks in advance!
@creepryzila93096 жыл бұрын
By the type of work she does, it is most likely she makes a mold and makes a cast of some sort, since firing the clay without hollowing the figure can lead to the piece to break , but she can also air dry it if she wants it just like that, since its a water based clay.

Hello, I have a question. When this work is done & ready for firing, is it going to be in the kiln with the armature wire or without?
@castellasants3 жыл бұрын
im not an expert but the way she works clay and the way thet clay is used since s.XIX is more like a transition medium where finished work is made by cast. So maybe you can just make a cast and reuse the clay. Ive heard that clay can explode if there any air bubble inside the figure so... very very dangerous haha id prefer castining
