balancing speed and accuracy takes a very 'unique shooter'. I disagree, because any person can become an accurate speed shooter with time and practice. Max Michel to Jerry Miculek, both these shooters have been shooting for years and put a huge amount of rounds down range daily. If any IPSC shooter had the means to do that then they would easily find that balance between speed and accuracy.

I disagree. Thousands of USPSA/IPSC shooters blow tons of money on ammo, equipment, and match fees but never even approach the level of skill these guys have. Sure, it's a skill that can be learned, but it has much more to do with hard work and discipline than it does money. Most pro shooters do 75% or more of their training with dry-fire anyway. To reach the level of skill that Blake and Max have, you need the worth ethic, discipline, and a large dose of natural talent. That is a pretty rare combination, which is why only a few people in the world can hang with these guys.

Also disagree. I don't care how much money you have available to you, unless you have the work ethic AND the natural talent, you will never get to this level. The fact that you're making excuses (pointing at money) instead of going to the range and going toe to toe with these guys tells me you don't have the mix required to be at their level. No offense intended, that's just how it is.

+Robbie Daugherty Yes, I know a grand master who only shoots once a month at my weekly uspsa matches and goes shoots national matches. Says she dry fires several hours every day........
