Speed System and Stirrup Adjustment

One more comment: with my harness (Gin Verso) I could not adjust the speed bar in any other way except in flight. A simulator didn't work. So over several short flights from a 300' training hill I adjusted the bar so that (1) when not engaged, the lines were slack (just a bit), and (2) when pushed in fully, the thing was engaged 100%, i.e. the links touched. I don't use the bungee because I try to feel the bar with my legs the same way I try to feel the brakes with my hands in turbulence.

I never use stirrup but I guess it's just a personal preference. Never a problem settling in, perhaps it's my harness (Gin Verso from... SuperFly - ta-dah!) Good job guys!

I am an amateur paraglider. I have a suspicion that I had my speedbar incorrectly connected in my last flight. I didn’t check properly the speedbar lines. Took off. And the wing went much faster than usual, in one direction, lost height very quickly. I had almost 0 control and had an accident. Other people watching me wouldn’t figure out happened as the launch itself looker correct and the wing was well inflated. Could I be correct on that? That incorrect speedbar attachment can lead the wing to go very low, very fast, and maybe in one single direction? I am still trying to figure out what happened with my accident. Would appreciate any input.
