cool video and nice rig! i have a 94 alumacraft superhawk 1542 side console with a 2021 suzuki 30hp. was getting 30-31 mph with stock prop, getting about 28-29 with a solas prop.

Alumacraft boats are good , did you change prop size?

What pitch prop? I have a new Suzuki 30 going on my rebuilt 1972 StarCraft V 16.👍 Great vid.

Its 9 7/8 x 13 prop, on 2 stroke 30hp yamaha. That Suzuki should do great. I had a 20hp Suzuki on this boat before, if I remember it would do mid 20’s. Thanks for sharing

My 2018 Etec 25hp pushes my Alumacraft v16 to 29mph. Maybe your prop is too small

9-7/8x13 prop.. what size are you running?

10.3x12. It’s stock pitch. 9-7/8 seems small for a 30hp? Maybe that motor was on something heavy before you got it? You can definitely get More speed out of your set up.

It was on an inflatable tender for a yacht previously. I do plan on trying other props . Thanks

I have a 16' starcraft deep V with a 25 hp 2 stroke extended shaft 1988 Johnson that will do 26 mpg with ease

May I ask what pitch prop you are running?? I have a similar setup and mine is only around 16 top speed . 15 foot deep v hull with console and floors and and batteries and gear .1988 Johnson 25hp
