Thank you - I just listed a Printify Personalization Optional sweatshirt using your guidance. Some points to note, the Text File has to be recreated for each color with a unique design, you have to make note of the font size and position to recreate identical version Text boxes. I haven't sold one item yet, but I am building my foundation products and making templates so eventually I can add listings quickly. I think this new upgrade on Printify is good for beginners with no a huge amount of orders, once the store star to receive a lot of customization Helocuston is better option.

Really good Printify finally added this! Thanks for the tutorials. So do you NOT use HC or not on all stores? If not, can you let us know why? In this video-You said you had a lot of personal orders coming through and having to do the “old” way and would have done differently if this had been an option? I figured you would have already converted everything to HC on old/new listings and if for your new shops don’t they have HC? Does adding or moving old listings to HC hurt you or your store in rank and algorithm? Is that why you’re having to do the old way still? I’m confused. I assume this option is great for new stores that maybe the original monthly HC would not be beneficial (they may still have $67 a yr per store?) or even paying for Printify premium until secured sales. I’m assuming with your stores and income revenues you would have that flexibility anyway. Please let us know bc it’s hard as new and which tools are worth it $ and best to spend money as investment. I still like HC better because I can approve my orders while on my phone when I am not at home where all my design files are. It's just quicker and easier. I still have a full time job so if I get personalized orders I can usually pop into a secluded room and approve the order real quick.

Love to hear this! many people are between using this and HC. I love HC too if people can afford it- it sitll saves a lot more time.

I’ve been so scared of doing personalization. This video helps a ton. When you go in to change the names, do you click on the order itself, or do you have a master file that you change?

Hi! thank you so much for this video it was super helpful. Question- before finding this video I found one where the individual stated that I needed to delete my SKU numbers in Etsy for personalized listings. I went through and deleted all the SUKs in all my personalized listings but now Im wondering if that was the wrong thing to do? Will my listings still functions properly with Printify even with the deleted SKU numbers or do i need to go back and remake my listings and leave the SKU numbers in? Thanks!

Yup! The listings will still work with printify. For personalized listings, I also leave my SKU's blank so that the orders go to the "Other orders" tab, where I can manually fulfill them.

HelloCustom still lets you automate things and do more complicated designs now so it does depend on what kind of designs youre doing!

The new Printify way is very similar to how it works in Printful. I wonder if this change is a result of the recent merger.

Do i need to have the order approval settings set to manual to do this?

Once you have personalization turned on, it automatically stays as a manual approval even if thats not your regular settings
