My question is, I have the router from my cable service provider, is it necessary to keep and continue paying the fees for their service or can I return and just use the Reyee - WiFi 6 and the modem I also have from my cable service provider? Great and very informative video. Won't the ISP provider not throttle one's speed if they know your not using their router? So just connect the Reyee router to the wall port where your ISP's router/modem connected? Advanced thank you

Question When You had Wi-Fi devices like smart switches, plugs and even cameras. They always suggest you don't use the same Wi-Fi network as your personal computer and you should create a second Wi-Fi connection other than the one your computer's on.

You see, you're trying to describe a distance, but you're using an area measurement to define it. Square feet is a measurement of an area, not a measurement of a distance. I realize that the manufacturer says it can cover an area of 1,000 square feet, but that doesn't really tell you how far away the router reaches, just how much space it can cover. So, what is the distance range of this router? Is it 100 feet, 500 feet, or 1000 feet?

Square feet is a measurement used for devices like this. It’s foot in all directions. Best to put the router in the center so you can go 1,000ft in any direction

Yes, all internet requires a modem. A router just creates a wireless (wifi) network which a modem does not do. Your ISP usually gives you a modem. Just connect this to it and set up your password and stream fast. Enjoy

Depends on the square footage you are trying to cover. I have 6 and 2 additional extenders for the garage. Covers about 8000 sq ft at the highest speed. We also have expressVPN, but those servers don't slow down the speed much at all. The key is to have them evenly throughout your residence. 3 nodes should get you 4000 sq ft at the highest speed. Unless you have dead spots, it should be fine. Your nodes should auto switch on your cell phone so you can walk around and look for dead spots. That will help you determine if you need more.
