I tuned in because of the salamander. I had a tiger salamander that lived for 17 years. I had to hand feed him or he wouldn’t eat. I had him from soon after hatching when he was still a mud puppy. Love your videos.

This demonstrates that amphibians pretty much feed with the same method, but detecting motion. The largest of the amphibians here, the barred tiger salamander is a bottomless pit for sure.
