There are so many things I liked and did not like about this video. First I loved the color palette. I loved the way you used the white of your paper and I loved the speed of this video because I did not love the music (granted I could have turned off the volume) I wished you would have talked us through your thinking process especially regarding the white of the paper you let shine through. It would have been nice to understand how to use this technique. I have tried so many times to do this and I just don't get those crisp sharp edges of white like you have on the main mushroom. I wished you could have told us how you planned your shadows and lights. Did you decide in your mind? These are kind of things a beginner colorist would like to know. Also, by not talking or maybe even writing out directions on your screen as you did your color choices. How can viewers color along without having to look up every second to see what you are doing and or if they have missed anything. I did take time to watch this on my television while I was eating dinner but unfortunately I don't have the luxury or patience to sit through 30 minutes of viewing somebody coloring just to view somebody coloring. When I watch a colorist I want to learn and I also want to follow along. What did I learn from you? That I may not be using my white pencil enough. But it leaves me the question to how can I use my white pencil more efficient and I'm afraid you didn't answer that. The reason I am taking the time to write this is because I think you are an amazing colorist and I think this feedback could help your channel. You have a lot of lessons to teach.

Thank you very much for the effort you put into this comment! I thought about what you told me. I understand what you are saying but to be honest I am way to shy to make a voice over. It took me years to decide to upload a video. 😅 I hope I will be brave enough in the future to change that. For now I will try to improve the music. 😉 But I can recommend some other Channels were you can learn some techniques concerning the white. @BarbaraColour @OlivierOdorant for example, I also learned many things from them. Really great colorists! I hope you‘ll find what you are looking for! In the meantime I will work at my self-confidence. Have a nice day. 👋🏻

I don't know if there is an ai. program that could dub a voice that you would just type in what you want it to say. might need a bit of researching.
