i can't keep my car straight on the line, even though i'll tap the button opposite direction of the flip, it just makes me go out of the center line when i flip cancel. i always see the flash of your car going supersonic just those 2 lines at 1:55, and my car never does that, it always does it after :(
@Krubus19 күн бұрын
either the tap is too short or too long, adjust it based on where you land, if there's a delay between the counter turn and flip you might also go flying off course
@xtYLT2IY819 күн бұрын
@@Krubus do you know why it is i always go supersonic after those lines? i'm 100% waiting for the car to drop first, cant tell if it's something to do with the flip not being tight enough of just something else, i'm always like half a foot from the ball before it disappears, i've just been trying for like an hour and i haven't done it once

Imo, I think doing the W+A way is better then doing Q+W (IMO)
@Krubus8 ай бұрын
I can't make anyone do any method, Q+W just lets you control air roll and turn seperately so I feel it's cleaner to me but do whatever way you prefer

do you have to learn both variations of the speedflip (right and left)?
@Krubus24 күн бұрын
(copy pasted because I've answered this on another comment) the direction doesnt matter much, you'll find learning one is more comfortable for you and you can stick to it, it will slightly effect how u land at the ball so on diagonal kickoffs it might make a tiny difference but both are fine to do, just you need to adjust differently on spawns like the far back side ones. aka no you don't need to learn both imo

@@Krubus alright thanks a lot man, by the way Ive been trying to learn this way for the past few days but i cant get it to hit the ball in time on musty's pack even if my cancel delay and flip timing is good (theres a bakkesmod plugin to show that). Any idea what I should do?
@Krubus23 күн бұрын
@z.ahiriyyah I never used that plugin xD just let your car drop before you go and make sure you break it down step by step, go as straight forward as possible (tiny counter turn the other way before you flip), without a clip of you doing it its hard to say, let me know if u upload yourself doing it might be able to catch the issue that way :)
@Krubus23 күн бұрын
also the timing of when you start your flip is important, it's a bit later than feels natural
@alislam3423 күн бұрын
@@Krubus yeah I tried to replicate how you did it with my variation of the flip. BTW I uploaded a clip on my yt account. I'm not sure what I did wrong but what I noticed that me shifting airroll to D was much earlier than you did it (but I don't know if that affects the flip). Another thingm I didn't go straight for as long as you mentioned I just realised that. BUT sometimes I did go left but it still failed. Is it my technique, movement or timing?

In your speedflip example video from a year ago, you used air roll with Shift and A, I find it more comfortable. So I'm practicing this and I almost make it to the ball, super close. Do you think it's just a consistency issue? Just gotta keep grinding? I'm thinking my cancel isn't fast enough.
@dariusb35598 ай бұрын
Ok so I've been trying it for like 40 mins and right after leaving this comment, I tried slowing the game to 50%, but I feel like that just threw my timing off. I tried 75% and managed to land it 2-3 times, so I went back to normal game speed. In ~6 minutes I managed to hit the ball 3 times with many tries. It's insane how fast you have to do the inputs, but I'm assuming the pack is for the PERFECT speedflip, so I guess my speedflips aren't so bad? EDIT: So I can do it somewhat consistently now, I practiced it 90 mins today. The biggest thing for me was noticing that the car should stay as close to the ground as possible: the problem is that when you do the first jump, you have to really tap it for a microsecond. If you hold it even just a bit too long, your car will go upwards more and you won't get back to the ground fast enough to reach the ball. I think that's the best tip I can give to anyone learning.
@Krubus8 ай бұрын
@@dariusb3559 yes very short taps for your jump, they don't need to be super close to each other (you don't need to mash it as fast as possible) but the shorter the better, it's most important to time the cancel to be immediately after your second jump. If you are holding the cancel the whole way through, using shift is fine I just found it smoother as you can control the air roll and turn properly, it's easier to land perfectly straight whereas with shift you have to awkwardly time letting go of shift to correct your car to be straight. If you can do it this way it's fine I just find that harder personally.
@Krubus8 ай бұрын
if you mess up your car easily veers off as you land, you might hit the ball on the musty pack but will find the 6th shot of the preflip pack very hard as your car won't always land perfectly straight, either way well done! I can't make you do either way I just used to do it with shift and ended up letting go of the cancel to try and land straight which was wrong.
@Krubus8 ай бұрын
lastly, yes it's a grind to learn AND to relearn but imo learning it with Q/E is more worth it, I'm still not 100% consistent with it but I only recently swapped and I'm already getting it most of the time (when your hands are cold you might not let go of the counter turn before the flip in time and make your car do a frontflip by accident)

I can't slide down my finger. Should I buy a new keyboard?
@Krubus4 ай бұрын
you can try using air roll bind instead of q/e it also works and doesn't require you to slide your fingers (diagonal flip using a/d+w+shift or whatever your bind for it is)
@Krubus4 ай бұрын
my other video on this 'example musty' showcases this but you want to hold the cancel the whole way through the flip
@gergelyozsvar98904 ай бұрын
@@Krubus I've been thinking about it for a while, and I found that's it's really great if you speedflip with W+E and then S+D with Powerslide. The problem with this was that it was too complex. It required 5 keys on the keyboard. I simplified it to just W+D then S+D with Powerslide. I only use 4 keys this time, making the action easier to perfrom. The possibility of failing depends only on 4 instead of 5, making it more likely to nail the speedflip. Also it's easier to do simple things than complex ones. So this is what I found: Use WDS space, because a W+E and W+D is the same. It's a diagonal. So you diagonal with W+D, keep your finger on D, press S and hold space (powerslide). It is very important to hold powerslide, since you can do airroll without binds, and you will land more clearly. So you basically diagonal flip, then cancel, then air roll (without air roll bind), then powerslide. I would be interested in your take on this. W+E and W+D is the same, so i decided to cut out binded air roll from use in speedflip. WDS and space. I hope I choose the better one!

@@Krubus I can now do a speedflip to the left, but not really to the right (it's 50% that it's going to work). I've seen pros do a speedflip only to one side. My question is that is it really necessary to be able to speedflip in both directions? Is it okay if I do it only to the left? My hand is probably in such a way where it's easier to do it to left. If I do it to the right, then it's more uncomfortable; and I can't move my fingers that fast.
