@@TheAndriux1422 yes but Guilia Quadrifoglio is not built to get raced. its a comfortable sports GT weighting nearly 1700kg. Its clearly no hillclimb / time attack car. Its natural environment is the street for sporty, fast and comfortable driving. The crash was mostly coursed due to its body roll and soft suspension which is trimmed for the street. In combination with driving on the limit, its defenitely harder to control then a car with a sports suspension. But this one seems to be bone stock. If i had one, i would drive it on the street and have some fun and maybe do a relaxed lap on Nordschleife tourist days. But for racing i would build a cheap and light car, maybe an 3 series BMW, Miata or MR2 where costs are way lower and scraping it / destroying a bumper or door would not cost a fortune to replace.

@@Satori-Automotive For the racing purposes I agree with you, no doubt it wasn't prepared right for the environment it was taken too. For the crash is only and ONLY the driver to blame, he didn't understand what a car like it can do if it looses contact to the road, he was overconfident and got what he was asking for. As much for the weight, the m3 competition weighs nearly 2000kg (1800-1950). Most of the cars that were raced that day were from street with minimal preparations.

Great video, but what kind of event is this? Is it a competition for fastest time? Because I can't imagine such an event being allowed in Austria where street-legal cars are competing for fastest times without even wearing a helmet. Fun to watch and for sure fun to drive though.

Hill climb with street cars, helmet is only required to cars with roll cage or with soft/hard top, because helmet and airbag is not the best combination in case of crash

timed event, but not for the fastest time, it's a regularity style event. 2 timed runs, whoever has the two most similar times, wins.

It's first Practice round, then two rounds of comparable time, you have to be as close to your first time. And then two rounds for fastest time. Everybody goes 5 times on the track.

@@Snake2303 pogoj je samo izpit in pa tehnicno izpraven avto. Je pa limitirano maksimalno št vozil, tako, da v primeru, da se jih prijavi vec kot je mest, da potem izbirajo avtomobile nekako po zanimivosti oz tako, da je seznam avtomobilov cim bolj raznovrsten

That’s a not an FIA sanctioned event and it’s held in Slovenia for mostly private people and those so inclined to test their cars performance. So helmets are seen more as a personal responsibility kinda thing.
