Ink misting is a problem now due to low tac, vegetable oil based inks, and high speeds for long times.

Vegetable oil based printing inks are such a waste it's just unbelievable. When you put that kind of ink into the worst printing press ever made in the history of the printing industry, you feel like killing someone. By far the worst printing press ever made is the Heidelberg SpeedMaster CD 74. I have never seen a worse printing press. For them, Adast, while it existed, was a concept.

So, don’t buy vegetable oil based inks. Or buy a thickening agent and use it yourself. Or buy a better press lol. You can also cut breathable foam to fit the back panel/roller train covering for cheap. It pays to have an engineering mindset
