Really coming together now, looking forward to seeing the final result. The screw on the bottom of the headlamp should be an adjuster. The two side bolts are just pivots and it should rotate freely on them. You’re defo helping with the motivation to get my visions built back up 👍

Thank you! I'm really enjoying the build. I've come across a couple of obstacles but all in all its been a pleasure. I think I've found my new restoration passion lol. The pivot bolts operate well, just need to adjust the screw at the front but I'll leave that for the MOT 😊

I was originally going to go for one but the napoleon mirror was available at a bargain price so I decided to go with that one. There's always the option to change it though so who knows, I might end up changing it in the future 😊👍

Looking cleeeean❤ love that JDM clock 😮 I would like to replace mine, is super sun faded and looks terrible when the lights are on ( you are correct the engine needs to be running for the lights to work 😅) if you fancy selling/swapping your old U.K. clockface I’d be interested 👍🏼 I fitted an oversize ZX transmission and dr pulley slider weights to mine this week,just waiting for a new longer wider belt to arrive( the first was too long and destroyed itself 😂) also finally diagnosed and fixed my carb problem to- so nearly ready for MOT 🥳 your videos really help to keep me motivated to get mine finished so thank you for that 🛵💨🔥🔥🔥🔥

Thankyou buddy 😊 I've managed to get the scooter to start on the button which is great, but the lights don't work on the switch. I've had a couple of friends look at it and we may have sorted it 🤞 My larger main jets have arrived now so I can run the engine without the worry of overheating it lol. The zx conversion sounds interesting, I'd love to hear the results from you 👍I will collect all the parts which have been removed, and no longer required, then see what I can let go. I can't see me needing the clock face if all goes well with my conversion. I'll let you know 🙂👍

You do realise that copper grease is not the correct application for a moving part like the kick gear and pinion 😅

This is all I had available at the time of the build. I've since removed the kit due to the retaining clip not sitting correctly and replaced the copper with a ptfe grease which I was recommended 👍
