What graphic tablet do you recommend? You're artwork is amazing and I just don't have any idea what tools I need to start with.

Catherine Pattison I might not be the best for tool recommendation, since I've only ever used 2 different kinds of tablets (wacom bamboo, and then "ugee" for when that first one stopped working properly) but I ended up buying another wacom bamboo, since the Ugee didnt have any pen pressure settings, and the default was set at "gotta press hard to get proper lines" plus the surface was rougher than what i was used to, made grating scratch sounds. But I never spent more than 100€ for any of these buys,, the one I have now, I think was a second-hand ~70€. I'd say simply look for something that has an ok price tag, then do some research to make sure that type isn't prone to get faulty quickly. My first wacom lasted for like 4 years without any issues at all.

My lowest price is at 15$ for a simple headshot and the highest is 75$ for something like this *but with a realistic background. This one specifically was 60$, it's one of my experimental type commissions where I aim to treat it like one of my personal artworks (usually looks more painterly)
