Aaah something really fun!
Finished piece: remarin.devian...
This time, I tried to be a bit more careful with contrast, and not amp it up unecessarily. I previously, for some reason, had the notion that I need to get the whole value-range in my paintings (darkest black - brightest white),, which is not at all a must-have!
And I think I achieved the overall mood I had in mind??

That's the point of a drawing right? to have some sort of purpose or mainly story to it! Most successful artists often draw stories behind their illustrations and designs rather than just a pretty pose.

You make the background and characters so full of depth! I love the differences of color and how your eye is drawn to the center, the wolf and the red girl. The angle of the trees and how it gives you wall-eye vision is just AWESOME. I also absolutely adore how you painted the teeth! The way they point out gives the wolf even more of an Ancient God like feel. Absolutely fantastic! Thanks for posting the process! It really lets us know how much time and effort you put into all of your work. It's wonderful!
