I saw Coraline when I was five and I loved it. I never got scared of it because I was used to being terrified every night when having nightmares. I don't know why but when I was a little kid all I had were nightmares. Now, I find creepy and scary things quite beautiful.

when I was younger I watched this movie all the time even though I had a big ass fear of dolls I somehow loved it, some kids thought I was weird to watch this kind of horror movie all the time, my great grandma makes dolls out of things like the doll coralline was holding, but they weren't creepy to me I asked her to make a coralline doll for me and she did I still have this doll today, I can stand button eyed dolls but not realistic dolls like barbies

I LOVE CORALINE!!! I went to the Portland art museum (In Oregon) And they have a laika display (Laika is the clay used for stop-motion) And they had all the ACTUAL charaters and sets from Coraline! I touched Coraline's house, and the huge garden. 😂

Trash Cakes | That's not always true. There are some boys that look more like girls, and some girls that look more like boys. Not all girls have hourglass bodies, either. And neither do female children (Under the age of ten or eleven, anyway,) What I would recommend is using reference until you get the hang of it. It just depends on the person/character that you're drawing.

As a kid I was never scared of this movie, but I have always like dark-ish stuff and my dad used to show me some gore xD . I remember my dad bought me a blue ray and dvd pack with 3d glasses, it was so cool and I fell instantly in love with this movie, I love stop motion, miniature and intricate things, I searched the “making of” videos and all, is still one of my favorite movies. Now that I remember, I had the ps2 game too. I wanted to work for Laika as a child and now that I’m studying Animation, I would love to work for a project of this style 💜
